Low-cost, scalable, and automated fluid sampling for fluidics applications

Automated microfluidic-stream fraction collection is preferable to tedious, error-prone manual collection. Commercial fraction collectors are often expensive and hard to customize, while existing open-source collectors can remain complex and difficult to source or manufacture. Colosseum is a low-cost, modular, one-motor automated fraction collector that can be built from off-the-shelf and 3D-printed components, assembled quickly, and used for accurate fraction collection across a wide flow-rate range.
